7:18 a.m.: Suspicious vehicles were reported on Freeland Drive. A deputy scoured the area, finding nothing going on.
9:58 a.m.: A deputy handled a report of social-media-driven threats and harassment related to the previous day’s shot dog/ face punch call in Buffalo Gap. Everyone involved was asked to take a breath and step back from the situation…and to take down the offending social media posts.
11:29 a.m.: Another deer paid the price for not looking both ways on Hwy. 385, near the Custer/Pennington County line.
