Everybody smiles when they’re on a rickshaw.
That’s the belief of Ralph Zuke, who over the course of nearly eight weeks rode a bike from his home in St. Louis, Mo., to Calgary, Alberta, Canada, all in the name of helping eradicate polio from existence once and for all.
Included on his stops during his ride was Custer, where the soon-to-be Rotary district governor and 17-year veteran of Rotary had lunch with the Custer Rotary Club and even helped pitched in on a roadside cleanup the club conducted.
