Get ready, Hill City. The much-anticipated Supporters for the Hill City Ambulance auction begins at 6 p.m. July 12.
The auction is virtual and all items can be viewed on the McPherson Auction and Realty website. People can register before the auction is posted. Once they have a bidding number it can be used on the McPherson site to bid on any of their auctions.
Organizers of the auction explain that there is something for everybody. The auction contains approximately 300 items, both new and used. Some items are one a kind, like a rare view photograph of Lincoln up close or a handmade bison quilt created locally. There are fun outdoor items like a 16x16 glamping tent, a hot tub and a gazebo. Artwork, antiques, supplies and much more are just part of what people can bid on, all in support of the new ambulance building.
There are also 50 gift certificates available to bid on, including a Rush ticket and suite certificate, a poolside suite with water park access and a Deadwood stay with free slot play.
People can view items on July 12 at the Reno Gulch Self Storage between 3-7 p.m.
All items must be picked up and paid for July 15 between 3-7 p.m.
All proceeds benefit the Hill City Ambulance Building Fund.
