COY reception, open house Tuesday 

A reception for the 2023 Custer County Chronicle Citizens of the Year, the Custer Cares team, will take place next Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Custer’s Last Stop on Mt. Rushmore Rd.
The reception will run from 5-7 p.m. and food and beverages will be served. Alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase as well.
In addition, there will be a ribbon cutting for the Custer Care and Rehab Center that same day at 1 p.m. at the facility. It will be followed by an open house.
Dignitaries in attendance will include members of Custer Cares (Janet Boyer, Monica McGowan, Mike Tennyson and Rick Wheeler) Chad Stroschein, Caring Professionals, Sam Van Voorst, regional administrator, Caring Professionals, staff of Custer Care and Rehab Center, CNAs and nurses of Custer Care and Rehab Center and others.
The public is invited to attend any and all of the events.
